Father Biega became Priest in charge at Holy Trinity in 2007 and was named Rector in May 2008. Originally from New Jersey, he was ordained a priest in the Roman Catholic Church in 1975. He served on college campuses in West Virginia, Colorado, North Carolina, and Texas. He also sat on the boards of College Work and taught at the university level. Fr. Biega was received into Anglican Orders April, 1989 and served in the Diocese of West Texas until 1991. He came to the Upper Diocese of SC to work and teach at USC, Columbia until 1996. He became the Rector of All Saints, Cayce in l996 and served until May 5, 2004. He is a member of the Diocesan Board of Examining Chaplains and is a Reader for the National General Ordination Examinations.

Fr. Biega is married to Elizabeth Brewer Biega and there are five children: Ted, John, and Audrey Neale; Dawn and Jean Biega.
